Why did you choose the Wausau program?

I am from a small, rural town in Northern Wisconsin. Much like the small community in Wisconsin, this program provides a familiar, friendly, and supportive environment.
I enjoy being able to connect with patients & provide care to those in the communities that have supported me throughout my life.

As a graduate of Medical College of Wisconsin-Central Wisconsin, Wausau has been my home for the past several years. My husband and I own a home here & I intend to practice in the area upon completion of residency.
I am so excited to be a resident at this program & be able to continue pursuing my personal goal of improving health outcomes in Central Wisconsin.
I was drawn to the program’s focus on rural, under-served populations.
